Source of issue –Cove Marine PO15619 (Inv CO 020872)
Description –
08JUL26: Received PO 15619 from Cove Marine. DF processed order in The Brain.
10JUL26: The Brain had 2 delivery addresses (Frederick Dve, Oyster Cove NSW + Lot 2354 Bruce Hwy Bowen QLD). The goods were dispatched to Bowen QLD.
21JUL26: Kyla contacted DF, as anodes had not arrived. Tracking showed that they were dispatched to Bowen QLD and were on their way back to our stores, as it was the incorrect address. In the meantime, we cast the anodes again and dispatched them to the correct Oyster Cove address.
24JUL26: The replacement anodes arrived late in the day. The customer was a commercial barge. They took the vessel off the slip as they could not wait any longer. Their GM, Mick was pissed off.
29JUL26: SP. LS and BL investigated the cause of the issue. The Bowen address was part of the original MYOB upload file from August 2025, it somehow made it on to Cove Marines Card.
Note that the Bowen address is from an infrequent customer Coral Coast Fisheries.
Immediate action –29JUL26: BL rang Kyla and explained what had occurred. She understood and will pass on our apologies to Mick and Katherine. No further action required.
Root cause –Data upload glitch.
Corrective action –
29JUL26: Kyla happy with explanation. BL made it clear that the incorrect address has been removed from their card .
1. Customer PO to be attached to the "Customer Order" in the Brain. This process has been written into the Brain User Handbook.
2. All staff to double check delivery address on customers PO to see that it matches the address on our Order, Packing Slip and Invoice.
